Teachers and counselors at New Media Technology Charter School voted 26-3 for representation by the Alliance of Charter School Employees, Local 6056, and AFT Pennsylvania affiliate. New Media's union vote is the first charter school in Pennsylvania to be conducted according to private-sector labor law and overseen by the National Labor Relations Board.
